As
they say Marriages are made in Heaven..... .but the
cost of the ceremony are definitely not borne by
the people in heaven. Here at SETU we try to
fulfill a portion of the dreams of the people
especially Girls by sponsoring the marriage of the
underprivileged couples. |
| In
a year SETU shall set
aside a sum of Rs 100000/-
(Rupees One lac only) for
the marriages of the
disadvantaged. |
| This
scheme shall cover all
individuals who have
attained the marriageable
age as per the laws governing the Republic of India. |

| The
benefit available under
the scheme shall be as
follows: |

Maximum
Amount on a particular
family: Rs.5000/- (need
based) either in cash or kind |
Minimum
Amount on a particular
family: Rs.2000/- either
in cash or in kind. |

| Documentation
and Grant: |
| The
grant shall be made on a
first come first serve
basis. |
The
applicant shall have to
submit along with a simple
application on plain paper
the following documents to
avail the benefit: |

Marriage
card (if available)
-
Birth
certificate /
Affidavit as proof of
age
-
Couple
photograph( after the
marriage) - mandatory
-
Monthly
income of the family
should not exceed Rs
60000/- (Rupees Sixty
thousand per annum)
