| Setu sets ups offices at Bangalore and Mumbai |
The Setu Foundation expanded its reach outside Delhi by opening offices at Bangalore and Mumbai. The Bangalore office will be headed by Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh and the Mumbai office by Mrs. Hiran Singh. Two more offices shall shortly come up at Kolkatta and Chennai. |

| Setu Inducts New Trustees |
At the Board meeting held on the 1st of July 2007, Setu inducted more trustees into its Board. They are Mr. V. K. Singh and Mr. Ashwani Arya. All of them have vast professional experience and shall be activity be involved in the operation of Setu while ensuring independence and transparency in the working of Setu. This takes the total strength of the trustees to five. |

| Setu Sponsors "Ugta Suraj" |
The Setu Foundation as part of its mission has sponsored the "Ugta Suraj" Program thru its grants to "SADRAG". The program aims towards a literate chilhood through a network of Learning and Support Centres for the Underprivileged children at Noida.The First Centre is already on at Sector 5 and the second in the series at Sector 16. The third centre is planned at Sec 31 and the survey is on. The ultimate aim is to set up six such centres across Noida. The total outflow on the Project shall be approx Rs. 5.40 lacs per annum for the current three centres and an additional Rs. 25 thousand per Quarter per centre.
Setu also looking at creating additional educational facility at Sector 16 by putting up a porta cabin, this is subject to the Government approvals, once the sanctions are thru the project shall cost approx. Rs. 1.75 lacs.
As part of the "Ugta Suraj" Program 46 children we granted badges on 28th July 2007 and inducted into formal schooling in the various schools of Noida. The badges were given away by the City Magistrate of Noida, Mr. Surinder Ram at a simple ceremony held at Sector 5 centre. The function was attended by the parents of the children and the young buds presented a cultural program.
Setu in its endeavour to cultivate the children announced a scholarship for 10 girls and would meet their schooling expenses comprising of uniform, books and the school fees till the students pass out class 12. The total outflow shall be approx Rs. 4 lacs on the project.

| Founder Donors |
Founder Donors are Individuals and corporates (represented by their nominees) who shall be funding Setu by 30/06/2007. As per a policy decision taken up by the Trustees of Setu , to ensure transparency and participation, the founder donors depending on their consent and availability shall be co-nominated to the Advisory board and shall get an active chance to participate in the affairs of Setu for term of 3 months . They will be part of all decisions at Setu and shall participate (based on their availability in the Saturday meetings at the Corporate office of Setu) . The first set of 3 members shall start their term from 01.09.2007 |

| Setu Vacancies |
| Setu is looking for young energetic candidates to work towards the objectives of the trust. The candidates should be well groomed and have good communication skills. Experience of working with similar organisations and having own conveyance shall be of added advantage.
