Painting with a difference!!!!

January 21st Jan 2011, was another eventful day for the children studying in the schools in Noida as they came forward to paint for Water Conservation, Protection of Wild Life and Education to mark the Republic Day function which was held in the Delhi Public School Noida.

Almost 27 schools participated from both the private as well as the social sectors with some 227 children who expressed their ideas through paints.

The chief guest for the occasion Mr.Dinesh Jain, Joint president, UFLEX inaugurated the function and the competition was judged by Col Ashok Pandit and the Chairman of Setu Foundation, Mr. Ravi Kaul. Also present were Mrs Manocha Head Mistress Shiksha Kendra Delhi Public School, Amit Ramani, Head Nelson India and Preeti Darbari Trustee Setu.

The purpose of the competition was to create awareness towards the education of the children from the weaker sections of society so that they could also lead a life to build a great nation. 

The yearly shield for Best Painting Competition School was awarded to Delhi Public School Noida. Finally all childrens came out winners by expressing their ideas thru their paintings
